WHAT A GIIRL CHILD CAN DO…..

Hi, I am Tamanna from Kolkata Sanved. I am sharing a very special story with all of you to inspire........

Her place is Bihar. She is 14 years old.

Her mother works at other people’s homes. She has two sisters and one brother. Her brother goes to school. Her sisters and she do not go to school because they are girls. Her mother thinks that girls should learn domestic work because this will be useful when they get married. She go and sell milk from place to place. Her brother comes home and tells her mother that his teacher asks for his school fees. Her mother said, “From where do I get this much money? From now on, you will not go to school. You will work with your father at hotels instead.” But my friend said at least let him study, but mother asked me to shut up and said she talk back too much. Her mother said, she has the burden of three girls on herself and that my friend should not tell her mother what to do. My friends went to the school master and asked him not to expel her brother. She told “I will give you his fees.” The school master smiled and said, “You are a little girl, how will you get so much money?” but she asked him to take the money she had and also asked him to give her two sisters admission to the school. The school master gave her sisters admission and also kept her brother in school. She came home and told her mother, “We need your love and support. You cannot believe in what other people think and ruin our lives this way.” Her father came and said, “Daughter, I am going to support you whether anyone else does or not.”

Her mother looked at us lovingly and said, “Kids, forgive me.” She then hugged us. Then, suddenly someone comes in and says some people are coming along with the school master. The master came and said, “From now on, the full expenses of your children’s education will be borne by the school. Every child in the village will be educated. Now, our school is being supported by the government. The government will make a big school in the village where each child from the village will be educated and will do good things for the country.”

Hi I am tamanna…

Hi Iam tamanna from kolkata..

I am part of the video team at kolkata sanved…

Main apke sath child rghts ke upar mere kuch soch share kar rahi hoon…

Main sochti hoon education pana har child ka right hai. Chahe wo boy ho ya girl.
Dono ko barabar mouka dena chahiye. Poor child ka life alag hota hai. Aur rich child ka life alag hota hai. Jada tar poor child ke pas na house hota hai.or na food or na cloth na life mein kissi ka sath hota hai. Na mother na father ka love milta hai. Aur na society ka sath milta hai. Aise halat main wo baccha jaye to kaha jaye.

Kabhi wo road ke side main dustbin se kagaj chonte hai to kabhi bhikh mangte hai. Apne faimly or apne paribar ke pet ka aag bujhane ke liye.hotelo mein kaam karta hai. Big big factory main kaam karta hai jaha saas lena bhi muskil hojata hai.Child beemar hojate hain or kuch child mar bhi jate hai.

Hum aise baccho ke liye kaam karna chate hai. Uska right jo hai hum usko dena chate hai.

MY FEELINGS

In the process of making the film on Child Rights, I am feeling:
I think that all children have some basic needs and there are many children in the world who are deprived of these. I also think that those children whose lives are devoid of love must receive love. Not only parents, but other people should also provide them with safety and respect. The children who don’t have a safe and hygienic space to live in require this. Education is also of primary importance and they must be provided with it. Even if they live on the streets, they deserve respect just like anybody else.

Ami Pinky,

When we were shooting in a street of Kolkata suddenly a person came to me and chasing me. Initially I felt very scared. Finally I able to make a conversation with that man and aware him that we are in the street with camera.

We are not from any channel....media....news house...we are few young people want to see to do something for children...

This is for the first time I able to make a conversation with a unknown person
and able to make him listen about our concern.

Please come to see our film on 13th November 2010 at Max Mueller Bhavan 3p.m.

Hi! I am Tamanna, Kolkata Sanved Video team. I am sharing with all of you which I have seen during the shooting of our film on child rights.
When I went to take interview with child that time I have seen that children are not safe. Very pathic seen I saw in a kolkata railway platform, Dhakuria station- A women lie down with her child but both of them do not have any cloths and that time I have nothing in my hand to provide at that moment and felt very depressed. I am very young and I also went day after in the same station with a sari to give her but she and her child was not there. Immidiately I felt I will spread the news through a film and share with all of you thats why we 3 from Sanved preparing this film.

We hope that we together will do something for children

Bithika blogs about Child Rights

We are re-arranging the Child Rights project today. Instead of being just a movie, it has now taken the shape of a digital story, incorporating both still pictures and video clips. This is partly because of time constraints. We are adding sub-titles and a voice over.

A movie can tell us more clearly what its whole point is, but even a still picture has a story to tell. Still photos can convey powerful messages.

We are very excited to be able to present the project in this way. We are also slightly nervous about it. Even so, we are giving it our best shot.
